As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, training, and developing a high-performing support team that provides exceptional service to our pilots. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our pilots have a seamless and efficient experience when using our pilot offering and trading applications.• Recruit, train, and develop a team of support specialists to provide top-notch service to our pilots• Ensure that all team members have in-depth knowledge of pilot offering and trading applications, including pilot Special Offering System, pilot Trip Trade System, and pilot applications for daily flight coverage• Manage the team to provide exceptional support to pilots through various online and in-person channels, delivering unparalleled customer service• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address issues, and implement process improvements to enhance the pilot experience• Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusionEssential Qualifications and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and experience:• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field• 3+ years of experience leading and managing teams, with a proven track record of success• Prior experience in pilot scheduling or planning, with a deep understanding of pilot offering and trading applications• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pilots, team members, and stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications and ExperienceWhile not required, the following preferred qualifications and experience will be considered an asset:• Knowledge of company policies and procedures, as well as practical automation applications• Experience working on strategic initiatives, owning projects from vision to execution• Contact center experience and understanding of contact center operations and staffing strategies• Experience working with and presenting to senior managementSkills and CompetenciesTo excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies:• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pilots, team members, and stakeholders• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability• Strong business acumen, with the ability to make sound business decisions and prioritize tasks effectivelyCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt American Airlines, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
