Our openings are available for immediate start, and we offer a competitive salary, full benefits, and a supportive work environment designed to help you succeed and grow in your career.Key Responsibilities• Operate a tractor-trailer combination, safely transporting goods and products to designated locations• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including hours of service, weight restrictions, and safety standards• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and other stakeholders regarding route updates, delivery status, and any issues that may arise• Maintain accurate records, including logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle inspection reports• Provide exceptional customer service, representing Workwarp in a professional and courteous mannerEssential Qualifications• Class A CDL with at least 6 months of experience in the last 3 years• Many local jobs require a minimum of 12 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years• Tractor-trailer experience with trailers over 40 feet in length and a minimum of 3 states or more regional or OTR experience for home weekly jobs• Fairly clean MVR with no major infractions• Maximum of 6 jobs in the last 3 years; we are looking for stable and committed professionalsPreferred Qualifications• 2+ years of experience as a Class A CDL truck driver• Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation management systems (TMS)• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the transportation industry• Strong communication and customer service skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamSkills and Competencies• Safety Awareness: a strong commitment to safety, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards on the road and in the workplace• Time Management: the ability to manage time effectively, ensuring on-time deliveries and compliance with hours of service regulations• Communication: excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with dispatch, management, and customers in a professional and courteous manner• Problem-Solving: the ability to think critically and resolve issues that may arise during transit or at delivery locations• Adaptability: the ability to adapt to changing circumstances, including weather conditions, traffic, and route updatesCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
