As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating existing and new sales for solutions delivery, meeting a wide variety of customer needs for AT&T products, services, systems, and solutions. You will work primarily on USMC customer premises, with possible support for other DoD components, and will be required to travel moderately throughout the U.S. and occasionally out of the U.S. to meet with customers.Key Responsibilities• Identify sales opportunities and develop solutions to meet customer needs, leveraging industry knowledge and applications, and utilizing consultative skills to close sales for assigned accounts.• Build and maintain a network of colleagues and customers to share information and obtain prospects, and support the resolution of customer disputes and accounts receivable discrepancies.• Demonstrate broad and strong working knowledge of the entire product and service line, and partner with clients to understand business needs, issues, strategies, and priorities, delivering valuable solutions.• Develop responses to Request for Proposals, and identify key trends and customer needs, leveraging industry knowledge and applications to drive sales growth.• Own account relationships, responsible for meeting revenue objectives, and demonstrate a sustained record of sales achievement, effectively influencing customers and diffusing potential problems.• Support the sales team through coaching or mentoring, and assist less experienced peers, leading when presenting products and services to existing or prospective customers.Duties Directly Related to Making Sales• Meet with customers and engage in sales activities at customer sites, communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, email, etc. related to proposed solutions and sales.• Travel to and from customer premises for sales activities, providing subject matter expertise on technical sales issues, and advising customers on the suitability of products based on technical needs.• Prepare proposals, presentations, and bids, including developing pricing and strategic plans, and proposed solutions and sales, researching and developing solutions with AT&T external partners, including design and engineering.• Research customer business and industry to identify new sales opportunities, and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to drive sales growth.Required QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:• 10-15 years of wireline experience with DOD, Navy, or USMC, and be willing to do moderate travel throughout the U.S. and occasionally out of the U.S. to meet with customers.• A Secret clearance is required, with a Top Secret clearance preferred or the ability to obtain one.• The ability to gain or have approved access to DoD locations, including Military Base Installations.Desired QualificationsWhile not required, the following qualifications are desirable:• CCNA, CCDA, CISSP, or applicable certifications, demonstrating a strong technical foundation and expertise in the field.• Prior Military Service, providing a deep understanding of the military and its operations, and the ability to effectively communicate with military personnel and stakeholders.What We OfferAt AT&T, we offer a competitive salary range of $109,000 - $183,000 + commission, with a total target compensation of $184,000 - $258,000 yearly if all sales goals are met.
