This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in a fast-paced and evolving industry.Key Responsibilities• Provide IT administration of expert services, project management, and support to ensure the operational sustainability of critical infrastructure.• Manage IT labs to align with client application and engineering teams, providing workstations, hardware, and access to test their applications.• Coordinate with professional services to maintain and repair critical infrastructure at remote communication rooms.• Oversee the management, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of all critical facilities infrastructure for data center and remote communication room equipment.• Develop and implement data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure.• Support IT Offices grounds fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta airport and grounds facilities underground fiber ring.• Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.• Ensure compliance with all governing corporate principles and guidelines.• Manage projects related to data center and remote communication room capital upgrades, updates, and improvements.• Source IT and basic facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for goods and services, and verifying that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments.Essential Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.• Knowledge of data center technology and basic facilities infrastructure.• Project management experience, particularly in managing remote communication room capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements.• Capital forecasting and project management for airport basic hardware life cycle replacement.• Space, UPS Power, and basic cooling capacity management.• Sourcing of basic facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation and vendor compliance.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple needs within established time limitations, and adapt to varying shifts and work requirements.• Commitment to the safety and security of self, others, and personal data.• Embracing diverse people, thinking, and styles.Preferred Qualifications• IT task management experience (minimum 3 years) within a high-availability communication room or data center working environment.• Experience with everyday operational requirements and the operation of production systems and equipment.What We OfferAt Delta Airlines, we pride ourselves on a culture founded on shared values - Honesty, Integrity, Respect, Loyalty, and Employee Initiative.
