As an Innovation Chance Oversight Chief, you will play a critical part in overseeing risk management, compliance measures, control effectiveness, and control metrics and assessments within the appointed CCGO RAU Owner inside CTO.About the JobIn this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for supervising 2-3 complex Risk Assessable Units (RAUs), also known as RCSAs. Your primary objectives will include:• Providing oversight of risk management, compliance measures, control effectiveness, control metrics, and assessments pertinent to the appointed CCGO RAU Owner inside CTO.• Managing all risk management activities related to the RAU (i.e., issues, risks, process change, etc.) to ensure control requirements are met and adhered to by CTO.• Becoming the RAU and control subject matter expert on the support models assigned and essential processes.• Leading risk management oversight to support CTO in planning and implementing risk-relief strategies.• Collaborating with key technology, business, and product groups to oversee current and emerging risks and controls related to technology lifecycle management activities and processes, and providing strategic leadership in developing and implementing technology control strategies.• Integrating yourself in all critical business schedules to ensure your understanding of the processes is adequate.• Leading assigned control activities and escalating when necessary.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Innovation Chance Oversight Chief, your key responsibilities will include:• Overseeing and developing a highly specialized Innovation Business Services team and managers with a focus on delivering moderate to high complexity services for cross-functional stakeholders and internal partners related to the functional area or who are impacted by its outcomes.• Identifying and recommending exceptional opportunities for process improvement and risk control enhancement by utilizing analysis and data, as well as in-depth understanding of organizational objectives, priorities, and technology, while developing executable strategies and plans.• Leading the Innovation Business Services team by making key decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet high-risk expectations.• Interpreting and developing a range of policies and procedures for innovation business capabilities with moderate to high degree of complexity and risk.• Collaborating with and influencing all levels of professionals, including technology industry leaders, financial industry leaders, analysts, and regulators, as well as interacting directly with more experienced leadership and executive management.• Managing portions of people and financial resources for Innovation Business Services.• Creating and directing a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.Essential QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must possess:• Years of Innovation Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.• Years of management experience.Preferred QualificationsPreferred candidates will have:• Senior-level experience with presenting high-impact or high-risk subjects.• Enterprise financial services experience at a top 10 US or Global bank.• Issues Management Experience (root cause analysis, and remedial action development).• Enterprise technology SDLC and Technology Change Management delivery or program management.• Ability to execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities.• Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve issues.• Significant, demonstrated expertise in Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).Skills and CompetenciesTo succeed in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including:• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of professionals.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.• Strong knowledge of risk management principles, practices, and methodologies.• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.Career Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt Wells Fargo, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
