As a tutor, you'll play a vital role in helping elementary students catch up on learning gaps developed over the past school year. If you're passionate about education, enjoy working with kids, and are looking for a consistent tutoring schedule, this is the perfect opportunity for you!Job Responsibilities* Prep the tutoring area to start sessions and pick up/drop off students from designated areas as communicated by the School Coordinator* Conduct small group tutoring sessions alongside other tutors, ensuring every student has a full grasp of the lesson* Take attendance and run lessons for online learning where applicable* Document student progress using the HeyTutor Dashboard* Monitor students' understanding and interactions with the lesson, engaging and interacting with the students to ensure they grasp the material* Additional duties may be required based on the District/Student needSchedule* Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day* 1 tutor needed during and after school (2pm-6pm)Requirements* Tutoring experience, with a proven track record of working with kids* Comfortable working in a classroom setting* Clear FBI-DOJ background check (provided through us)* Negative TB test* Ability to pass a background check and TB testPay and Benefits* Pay depends on experience and is determined at the time of the interview* Competitive pay for our tutors, consistent weekly schedule, and rewards for tutors achieving certain milestones* Opportunities for career growth and professional development* A supportive and inclusive work environmentWho We AreAt HeyTutor, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
