As a part of Affirm Insured, you'll play a vital role in helping customers make informed Medicare healthcare decisions by expertly matching them with the optimal products and services. You'll be responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience, maintaining the highest level of integrity, and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals.The Impact You Will MakeAs a Medicare Agent with Affirm Insured, you'll have the opportunity to drive sales and revenue, meet and exceed monthly sales and performance goals, and complete transactional sales through closing. You'll adhere to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Marketing Guidelines and company policies and procedures. You'll also make outbound calls to follow up and close business, and perform other duties and projects as assigned.What We're Looking ForWe're seeking individuals who are passionate about helping others, have strong sales skills, and are self-motivated. You'll need to have a genuine desire to assist seniors in making informed Medicare decisions, be able to build rapport, close deals, and exceed targets. You'll also need to be proactive and entrepreneurial in your mindset.Essential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you'll need to have:• A current and active health insurance license• Experience selling Medicare Advantage & Medicare Supplement/Medigap is preferred• Experience selling individual and/or senior insurance products via the telephone• Excellent computer software skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Project, and Internet skills)• Strong communication skills• A high school diploma is required• Call center experience is preferred• You must be flexible with hours, including possible weekends• Overtime, including weekends, may be required during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)Preferred QualificationsWhile not required, we prefer candidates who have:• A minimum of one year of experience in the industry and be a top producer converting at 15% or above• A health license and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed• Prior experience in Medicare sales or at least AHIP certification• Active Health or Health & Life Insurance License in your state of residence• Licensed in at least 10 states• Experience in healthcare, specifically Medicare, Affordable Care Act, or individual health plansSkills and Competencies Required for SuccessTo excel in this role, you'll need to possess:• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Excellent sales and negotiation skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Strong organizational and time management skills• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines• Proficiency in computer software and technologyCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt Affirm Insured, we're committed to helping our agents grow and develop their careers.
