You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop and implement solutions, and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Key Responsibilities* Analyze business requirements and develop business cases to support project proposals* Develop and maintain business requirements documents, user stories, and functional specification documents* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather critical information and produce useful reports* Work closely with clients, business, and managerial staff to ensure that solutions meet business needs and requirements* Perform user acceptance testing and ensure that all solutions are thoroughly tested before implementation* Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards* Update, implement, and maintain procedures to ensure that all processes are efficient and effective* Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements* Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users to ensure that all communication is clear and effective* Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the digital and data space* Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog to ensure that all projects are aligned with business objectives* Clearly communicate priorities, sprint goals, and acceptance criteria to the scrum team* Define user stories to facilitate clear communication of requirements to the scrum team, including 'definition of done'* Act as a key player in the different events of the development cycle, including daily scrums, team demos, and retrospectives* Review test cases and evidence to ensure that enough test coverage is in place* Coordinate, escalate, and report on key risks and issues, and ensure that proper and timely mitigations are in place for closureEssential Qualifications* 10+ years of experience in business analysis, with a strong background in the banking and financial services industry* Proven track record of delivering business solutions that meet business needs and requirements* Strong data analysis skills, with experience in SQL, MicroStrategy, or Tableau* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner* Strong problem-solving and process mapping and visualization skills* Experience in Agile tools, including JIRA, Clarity, ADO Boards, and Confluence* Good understanding of APIs and experience in API mapping* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written* A 'can-do' attitude, committed to delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations* Ability to learn quickly, listen, synthesize issues, and articulate recommendations for senior management* Diligent and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy* Ability to create effective work relationships across functions and borders, at both junior and senior levels of the bank* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels* Understanding of project governance standards, change management, financial management, project lifecycle, and related lifecycle stages* Current knowledge of SCB processes, governance, and standards for project/programme management (new Way of Working -
