As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and external vendors, to help Starbucks make informed decisions by leveraging data and analytics. Your expertise in predictive modeling, automating ETL processes, and designing and building analytical models using structured or unstructured data will be invaluable in driving business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:• Extract data from various databases and perform exploratory data analysis, data cleansing, and data aggregation.• Determine the analytical approach to solve business problems and apply machine learning algorithms where appropriate.• Utilize scaling and automation to improve data preparation methods.• Translate model results into actionable insights that are easily digestible by end-users through visualization, clear tables, and informative presentations.• Support both technical and non-technical end-users in understanding and interpreting the analysis.Essential Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong educational foundation in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or a related field.
