This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced technical trainer to make a significant impact on our business and take their career to the next level.About the RoleAs our Corporate Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for instructing internal and external technicians on the operation, maintenance, and repair of Thermo King and Carrier transport refrigeration equipment and Auxiliary Power Units (APUs). Your expertise in these areas will be crucial in ensuring that our technicians have the knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional service to our customers. With a mix of 60% travel and 40% office work, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including internal teams, customers, and suppliers. Your role will involve crafting training classes using Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) materials, conducting safety training, and overseeing on-site equipment audits to ensure adherence to industry standards.Key Responsibilities• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for internal and external technicians on Thermo King and Carrier transport refrigeration equipment and APUs, including unit operations, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.• Conduct safety training for internal and external customers to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to industry regulations.• Provide technical support to technicians and customers as needed, resolving complex technical issues and providing guidance on repair procedures.• Travel to customer sites and training locations to deliver training programs and conduct on-site equipment audits, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and repaired.• Identify and report common repair issues to management, providing recommendations for improving repair procedures and reducing downtime.• Manage the efficient and cost-effective delivery of training programs, ensuring that training materials are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of our technicians and customers.• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, service, and operations, to ensure that training programs are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.• Maintain confidentiality of all company information and ensure that training programs are conducted in a professional and respectful manner.Essential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in transport refrigeration equipment, including Thermo King and Carrier systems. You will also need to have experience as a technician, trainer, or supervisor, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality training programs and providing technical support to technicians and customers.
