As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers. This is a full-time position with a 5-day workweek, Monday through Friday, with a start time of 3:00am.Key Responsibilities• Safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers• Unloading and delivering products to our local customers, with a focus on providing excellent customer service• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle to ensure compliance with safety regulations• Secure operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck• Other duties as assigned by managementQualifications and RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and requirements:Essential Qualifications• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record• At least 2 years of experience as a CDL Class A Driver• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications• Experience working in a delivery or transportation industry• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate company softwareSkills and CompetenciesTo succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies:• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills• Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities• Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsWe are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
