As a Business Operations Intake Representative, you will play a critical role in meeting turnaround times on RFP Inventory assignments, processing requests from distribution partners and internal stakeholders, and partnering with Underwriting to ensure the case is set up correctly. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills, a basic understanding of document management, and a passion for learning, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities• Meet turnaround times on RFP Inventory assignments• Process requests from distribution partners and internal stakeholders and partner with Underwriting to ensure the case is set up correctly• Continuously learn product and process knowledge for self-development and future advancement• Identify reasons for non-standard processing of RFPs• Create quote cards and proposals for a portion of groups after the RFP intake process• Work with Underwriting to edit proposals• Release proposals for a portion of groups to sales executives• Work with AI to improve its accuracy and function by providing feedback and suggestions• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholdersEssential Qualifications• Basic understanding of document management, including using EXL, Word, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office platforms• Basic understanding of effective communication with internal partners, including strong written skills• Basic understanding of managing multiple priorities, including priorities with varying deadlinesPreferred Qualifications• Bachelor's degree preferred• 1+ years of experience in a business office setting, with the financial or insurance industry being a plus• Preferred experience with Salesforce• Preferred experience with Group Employee Benefits (Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital Indemnity)Skills and CompetenciesWe're looking for a candidate with the following skills and competencies:• Data gathering and reporting: knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data• Document management: knowledge of document management, including categorizing, integrating, updating, documenting, and distributing business information in a secure and effective way• Effective communications: understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques, including transmitting, receiving, and accurately interpreting ideas, information, and needs• Knowledge of organization: knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics• Managing multiple priorities: knowledge of effective self-management practices, including managing multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities• Project administration: knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices, and tools for administering projects• Diversity, equity, and inclusion: commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, including treating everyone with respect and dignity, ensuring all voices are heard, and advocating for changeCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsWe're committed to investing in our people and providing opportunities for growth and development.
