As they ramp up production efforts from 50L to 2000L, they are seeking highly skilled Bioprocess Scientists to join their team and support the construction of a new state-of-the-art facility.About the JobAs a Bioprocess Scientist - Night Shift, you will play a critical role in the cGMP manufacturing processes, technology transfer, and author/revise documents to support batch records. You will also be responsible for preparing production systems, buffers, and media for use in the production area. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will have the chance to make a real impact on the development and production of life-changing medicines.ResponsibilitiesAs a Bioprocess Scientist - Night Shift, your key responsibilities will include:• Writing and reviewing SOPs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements• Providing support to the Quality and Compliance Departments during regulatory audits• Accomplishing small projects independently and providing substantial assistance to large projects• Monitoring bioreactor operation (70% of the total night shift) to ensure optimal performance and quality• Supporting media or buffer preparation, and downstream process activities (cleaning of column, sampling, etc.)• Logbook verification and document review to ensure accuracy and compliance• Participating in the cleaning activities of routine items as per cleaning validation program• Compiling process data and performing pH/conductivity meter, osmometer, and scale calibration/verificationExperience and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field• Relevant experience in a biopharmaceutical organization, with a strong background in drug substance manufacturing (fermentation and protein purification) and drug product manufacturing (aseptic processing areas)• Upstream or downstream background, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in biologics• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issuesWhat We OfferAs a Bioprocess Scientist - Night Shift, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, where you can make a real impact on the development and production of life-changing medicines.
