The Consumer Promotions Strategy team is a key component of this effort, blending data analytics with strategy to create value for our consumers through promotional campaigns that engage and inspire them.About the RoleAs a Consumer Promotions Strategy Associate Manager, you will create integrated promotional strategies that accelerate consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will own the execution of promotional campaigns and work to improve them through testing and experimentation, informed by ongoing analysis of customer data. Your expertise will be essential in identifying consumer cohort trends, developing strategic consumer pricing and promotions plans, and analyzing campaign results to identify drivers of performance and opportunities to iterate on test structure.Key Responsibilities:* Identify consumer cohort trends and suggest areas to intervene within the customer lifecycle* Work with complex data sets to develop strategic, analysis-motivated consumer pricing and promotions plans* Analyze campaign results to identify drivers of performance and opportunities to iterate on test structure* Partner with our Retention Marketing and Strategy & Operations teams to test and manage multiple consumer promotions across hundreds of geographies across the U.S.* Develop a first-of-its-kind promotions playbook for our lifecycle and Dashpass workstreams that aggregate and balance goals between Consumer Marketing-funded, Merchant-funded, and Enterprise Merchant promotions* Partner with BI and Engineering to create ETLs and ensure dynamic events and data are properly routed to our CRM platform* Establish a strong working relationship with cross-functional stakeholders in our Retention, Product, Tech & Operations, Analytics, and Strategy teamsEssential Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience and 4+ years of experience in finance/management consulting, business operations, growth marketing/marketing analytics, or business analytics* Experience digging into large data sets, translating it into applicable insights, proposing, and executing data-driven strategies to own performance* Strong analytical/SQL skills; able to build forecasting models for marketing campaigns* Advanced Excel skills to perform complex functions* A record of driving business results via cross-channel marketing campaigns* Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills* Experience with CRM technology, including ESPs, segmentation tools, and complex data structures and systems* Experience translating data into applicable insights for partnersPreferred Qualifications:* Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field* Experience working with cloud-based platforms and tools* Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies* Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentSkillsand Competencies:* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work effectively in a team environment* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines* Strong business acumen and understanding of market trends* Experience with data visualization tools and techniquesCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:At DoorDash, we're committed to supporting our employees' growth and development.
