About the positionResponsibilities• Owning international financial deliverables for Annual Budget Planning (ABP) and Operational Review Meetings (ORM)• Analyzing and reconciling international financial performance against internal budgets, partner forecasts, and actuals• Acting as a strategic advisor by delivering insights and recommendations that align with operational and growth strategies• Partnering with the Accounting and Tax teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with regulatory and internal standards• Building and presenting regular updates to executive and international teams on financial performance and key KPIs• Collaborating with cross-functional partners to support global expansion efforts through scenario modeling, ROI analyses, and financial systems setup• Guiding the development of financial frameworks for varying ownership structures, including owned, joint venture, and franchise markets• Influencing international stakeholders through data-driven insights to ensure alignment on financial targets and business strategies• Serving as the financial liaison across varied business models (JV, franchise, owned) and global partners• Supporting the setup of systems, reports, and leadership visibility tools in collaboration with Accounting, IT, and Corporate Development• Reconciling and tracking differences across internal ABP, external partner forecasts, and Board of Directors presentations• Driving process improvements and reporting structure enhancements across international finance operations and managing foreign currency exposure and implications for Ulta Beauty• Ensuring tax and accounting considerations are embedded into strategic financial planning• Fostering a high-performance culture by promoting collaboration between domestic and international finance teams• Participating in international team meetings and influencing markets through data and financial leadership• Supporting special projects or ad hoc initiatives related to international growth and financial performance• Partnering with Corporate Tax to assess international tax implications and ensure compliance with local and U.S. regulations• Collaborating with Corporate Accounting on month-end and quarter-end close activities for international markets• Contributing to the development of global financial policies and controls that ensure consistency across markets• Serving as a key contributor to audit preparation and documentation for international entitiesRequirements• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, strategy, or international finance roles• Strong understanding of international financial environments, including GAAP/IFRS, tax, and currency impacts• Proven ability to influence cross-functional and executive stakeholders without direct authority• Experience working with multinational teams across time zones, cultures, and languages• Demonstrated success in standing up or scaling financial infrastructure in international markets• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with financial systems implementation a plus• Strong financial storytelling and presentation skills; able to distill complex data for executive audiences• Agile and entrepreneurial mindset-comfortable with ambiguity, fast-paced environments, and emerging processes• Ability to travel occasionally for international businessBenefits• Paid time off• Health benefits• Dental benefits• Vision benefits• Life insurance• Disability benefits
