The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a minimum of 5+ years of experience. A preference of general surgical pathology experience preferred but not required.* Join 11 other established Pathologists to provide a wide range of care* We have on-site ancillaries including laboratory, radiology, and an infusion center* State of the art 50,000 sq ft centralized laboratory with pathology, cytology, immunohistochemistry and now digital lab supporting advanced diagnosticsRequirements include:* NJ and NY State Medical License required* BE/BC in Dermatopathologist* Minimum 4+ experience predominantly dermatopathology sign out* Computer skills to facilitate digital pathology sign outClinical Service Responsibilities include:* Sign-out of dermatopathology cases with a focus on high-volume skin biopsy diagnostic* Provide expert dermatopathology diagnostic services, including interpretation of skin biopsies, excisions, and complex consultation case using digital pathology platform* Serve as a consultant for challenging dermatopathology cases, including inflammatory dermatoses, cutaneous neoplasms, and adnexal disorders.* Ensure accurate and timely case sign-out in compliance with CAP/CLIA/NYS standards.* Contribute to laboratory quality assurance and protocol development for skin pathology as needed* Contribute to tumor board for relevant clinical casesIf you are an interested candidate, please reach out to our recruiters at providerrecruitment@summithealth.comCompensation Range: $150,000-275,000The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, individual performance, quality measures and location of position.SUMMIT HEALTHWe are a smoke and drug-free environment.
