We're a fast-growing, remote-first team that believes in doing good work and being good to each other while we do it.About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Claim Specialist with a focus in outstanding claims to help our clients navigate insurance with confidence. This role is critical to the claim lifecycle from submission to resolution and plays a key part in shaping the tools we use every day.As an Outstanding Claim Specialist at DayDream, you won’t just investigate claims. You’ll help design the future of how we do it by working closely with our software engineering team to fine-tune internal tools and make our platform even better.What You'll Do• Follow up on outstanding claims with the primary goal of reducing the number of aging claims• Resubmit claims as needed, accurately and completely with all required documentation• Post payments as needed, with speed and accuracy, in accordance with the received EOB• Handle denials and appeals professionally and efficiently, interpreting EOBs and rejection codes• Collaborate with our software engineering team to provide feedback and ideas that improve our internal tools• Work cross-functionally with teammates in billing, operations, and client success to deliver excellent serviceWhat You'll Bring• 8+ years of experience in dental revenue cycle management (RCM), especially claims investigations• Deep familiarity with dental billing software and comfort with tools like Google Workspace, Slack and remote connection software• Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal• Strong organization and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail• A collaborative mindset and an interest in improving internal systems and workflows• A bachelor's degree is nice to have, but not requiredCompensation & Benefits• Competitive hourly pay• Medical, dental, and vision insurance some with plan option premiums 100% covered for employees• Medical and dependent care FSA options• PTO and sick time accrue from day one• 9 paid holidays annually• Company-provided laptop and home office stipendWe believe great work happens when people feel supported and heard.
