Our training program is designed to be hybrid, combining the benefits of on-site interaction with the flexibility of remote work. The training schedule is as follows:• On-site: Weeks 1, 2, 6, and 7• Remote: Weeks 3, 4, 5, and 8This blend of in-person and remote training allows you to gain the support and interaction you need while also developing your skills in a real-world setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Customer Service Trainee, you'll be in a developing and learning capacity, taking on a variety of tasks that are crucial to our customer service operations. Your typical assignments will include:• Researching inquiries by accessing our claims processing system and other informational sources to provide accurate and timely responses.• Responding to customer/group and provider questions through telephone contact and/or written communication, using proper etiquette, grammar, and punctuation.• Maintaining related departmental records and files to ensure data integrity and accessibility.• Operating office equipment, including personal computers, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.• Making corrections to claims and eligibility to ensure accuracy and compliance.• Entering new claims, eligibility, and subscriber information into our mainframe system.• Reviewing subscribers' coverage to determine the type and level of benefits, providing clear explanations to customers and providers.Requirements and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.• Have one year of customer service experience in a business environment that requires the use of a computer program to assist customers, preferably in a call center, and/or have dental experience.• Successfully complete the customer service simulation test with a minimum score of 62 out of 100 (assessment waived if you have previously passed the test while at blithequark or if you have previously held a Customer Service Trainee, Customer Service Advisor, or Customer Service Associate position).• Be available to work the required shift, either first shift (8:25 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) or second shift (11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Midnight, Monday through Friday).Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a dental benefits company or a related field, as well as a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.Essential Skills and CompetenciesTo succeed in this role, you'll need:• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple inquiries and tasks simultaneously.• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Proficiency in using computer programs and software applications.• A customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality service.Career Growth and DevelopmentAt blithequark, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
