As a Customer Experience Coordinator, you'll be an integral part of our team, leading by example and promoting a culture of honesty, integrity, and outstanding customer service.Key Responsibilities: Leading the Customer Experience• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.• Oversees a team of Associates at the front of store, ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs.• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs.• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates.• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed.• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates.• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs.• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.• Other duties as assigned.The Ideal Candidate: You!To succeed as a Customer Experience Coordinator at TJ Maxx, you'll need:• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.• A strong understanding of merchandising techniques.• The ability to multi-task and respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.• The ability to train others and work effectively with peers and supervisors.• 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.Preferred Qualifications:While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:• Previous experience in a customer-facing leadership role.• Knowledge of loyalty programs and credit promotions.• Experience with POS systems and inventory management.What We Offer: A Comprehensive Benefits PackageAt TJ Maxx, we believe in rewarding our Associates for their hard work and dedication.
