Job DescriptionOverview:Responsible for coordinating the daily transport activities for the assigned scope in a safe and efficient manner and the adoption of technological devices where necessary to aid in completing the responsibilities assigned. Ensure all customers' requirements are completed and meet their satisfaction level as per SLAs and KPIs.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Operations Management - Operate various vehicles/devices to complete daily transportation activities. Perform delivery and pick-up operations. Perform maintenance of transportation facilities, vehicles, infrastructures and systems etc. Identify and prepare relevant cargo for transfer operations. For Coordinator/Senior Coordinator, liaise and plan for transport schedules between different parties and locations. Identify shipping methods for goods based upon shipping procedures, routes and negotiated rates. Ensure proper documentation in place as per regulatory requirements.Operational Compliance - Ensure workplace safety standards and protocols are adhered to to create a safe working environment for all. For Senior Coordinator, they are also tasked to enforce these within the team. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards promptly. Complete all mandatory training in relation to workplace safety (e.g., 5S). Maintain sites cleanliness as per local and company's standards. Report all workplace accidents to Supervisor/Manager. Adhere to corporate social responsibility policies for logistics operations. Coordinate resolution of facilities, equipment, infrastructure and systems breakdowns to minimize downtime. Report transport operations issues promptly.Stakeholder Management - Collaborate with other departments/teams to complete day-to-day responsibilities as required. Typically works with guidance.EXPERIENCE Preferred experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised (13 months to 3 years)Candidates must be within 250 miles of an APL Logistics facility or office.The typical starting salary range for this position is: $40,180 - $57,400. The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, and location.
