About the positionResponsibilities• Manage Verizon Community Forward; maintain project plans, track deliverables, coordinate with stakeholders on follow-ups, and ensure action items are completed on time.• Organize meetings with nonprofit partners and effectively communicate project expectations and status to team members and stakeholders; summarize meetings and action items in order to coordinate project task completion.• Manage marketing and communications projects for Verizon Innovative Learning Labs, Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers, and Verizon Community Forward; assist in material development, event logistics, and cross-functional collaboration.• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external program partners, and relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment, collaboration, and effective execution of marketing initiatives.• Support additional marketing and communications deliverables as needed for the broader Verizon Innovative Learning portfolio and Digital Wellness initiative.• Collaborate with other members of the Responsible Business team to implement CSR programs and determine key metrics; create and update KPIs in partnership with grantees and assist in building quarterly reports on CSR program progress.• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and other communication materials for internal and external project meetings; present program overview, findings, results on a frequent basis to multiple stakeholders.Requirements• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.• Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work and/or military experience.• Work experience in CSR, STEM, and/or Education related fields.• Experience creating, implementing, and managing strategic CSR and community-based programs with diverse constituencies including philanthropic leaders, academics, grantees, policy makers, business executives, media and other social sector leaders.• Exceptional project management skills and the ability to deliver effective results.• Excellent presentation and strong written and communications skills.• Strong PowerPoint and Google suite skills.• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.Nice-to-haves• Strong skills in creative and strategic analysis with the ability to think out of the box.• Ability to quickly and successfully execute on philanthropic programs and measure success.• Ability to prioritize, problem solve and multitask effectively.• Excellent communications and relationship management skills including experience in presenting to and communicating with business leaders.Benefits• Health and wellness benefits.• Short term incentives.• 401(k) Savings Plan.• Stock incentive programs.• Paid time off.• Parental leave.• Adoption assistance.• Tuition assistance.• Other incentives.
