Identifies factors influencing the complexity of a patients diagnosis and treatment plan. Serves as a CDI resource and works collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and ancillary services. Champions for advancement of the Henry Ford Health CDI program.• EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:• Registered Nurse (RN), BSN preferred, with current licensure.• Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) preferred, with current licensure.• Demonstrated clinical competence as evidenced by three to five (3-5) years clinical nursing or advanced practice provider experience in an acute care setting, preferably critical care.• Basic PC knowledge required. Knowledge of ICD-10-CM Coding Guidelines.
