Monitors all workflows and identifies areas of improvement. Lead all HCA staff, making sure they meet all productivity and quality metrics. Duties may include reviewing all HCA referrals and scheduling for members of the HCA team to ensure timely, complete schedules and appropriate patient care. Perform training in-person and remotely as needed to maintain staff performance. Collaborates with other departments and Regions to enhance Certified regional overall efficiency and productivity. Key responsibilities include staff management, process improvement, compliance and performance reporting.Provides leadership support for the Regional Certified HCA department as needed to meet all operational needs of the region.Staff supervision including scheduling, managing performance, identifying training needs, completing payroll and providing input on hiring.Process Improvement: identifying and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency of the certified HCA department.Compliance: ensuring adherence to company policies, state and federal regulations and safety standards.Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data, and preparing reports.Issue Resolution: Promptly addresses and resolves staffing and operational issues as they arise.Budget Management: supports the Executive Director with planning and executing regional budgets related to certified HCA staffing and patient coverage.Inventory Control: Maintains adequate inventory levels, orders and manages supplies in support of the Business Office Manager.Knowledgeable of all HCA, and Scheduler tasks so that they can step in and perform all duties during staffing shortages.Serves as the certified HCA department point of contact for internal and external customers for questions and concerns involving HCA coverage and visit scheduling.High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferredExperienceFunctional understanding of Home Health care and scheduling practices.Experience using Microsoft office (Word and Excel)Medical TerminologyPrevious scheduling experience required.Able to type 20-30 words per minuteWe take great care of careersWith locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
