As a Cellular SOC Design Verification Engineer, you will be an integral part of our verification effort, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our silicon solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance.Job SummaryAs a Cellular SOC Design Verification Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the verification effort of complex SOCs that deliver Cellular solutions. Your primary focus will be on integrating multiple sophisticated IP level DV environments, crafting highly reusable best-in-class UVM based test benches, implementing effective coverage-driven and directed test suites, and deploying new tools and methodologies to deliver chips that are right-first-time. By collaborating with other product development groups across Apple, you will have the opportunity to push the industry boundaries of what cellular systems can do and improve the product experience for our customers across the world.Key Responsibilities:• Develop and implement verification test benches for complex SOCs using UVM methodology• Integrate multiple IP level DV environments to create a comprehensive verification environment• Craft highly reusable test benches and implement effective coverage-driven and directed test suites• Deploy new tools and methodologies to improve verification efficiency and effectiveness• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve verification issues• Develop and maintain verification environments for multiple high-speed protocols• Work with firmware and hardware teams to validate FW-HW interactions• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on verification methodologiesRequirements and QualificationsEssential Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Computer Science (BSCS)• Object-oriented programming skills• Coursework in digital design• Strong understanding of computer architecture and digital design principlesPreferred Qualifications:• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE), Computer Science (MSCS), or beyond• Coursework in computer architecture, networking protocols, and low-power architecture• Programming experience in SystemVerilog, Python, C++• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• Desire to seek diverse challenges and work in a fast-paced environmentWhat We OfferCompensation and Benefits:At Apple, we offer a competitive compensation package that includes:• Base pay range: $121,900 - $183,600 per year, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location• Discretionary restricted stock unit awards• Employee Stock Purchase Plan with discounted Apple stock• Comprehensive medical and dental coverage• Retirement benefits• Discounted products and free services• Reimbursement for certain educational expenses related to advancing your career at Apple• Discretionary bonuses or commission payments• Relocation assistance (if applicable)Career Growth and Learning Opportunities:At Apple, we believe in empowering our employees to grow and develop their skills.
