Bookkeeping Firm – Senior Care ClientsWe are seeking a part-time Billing & Payroll Specialist to support our bookkeeping firm’s senior care business clients. This is a contractor position requiring 10–15 hours per week, with the majority of work completed Sunday through Tuesday to align with client payroll and billing schedules.The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, with hands-on experience in WellSky and AxisCare, and a strong understanding of payroll and billing processes in the senior care industry.Responsibilities• Process billing for private pay, long-term care insurance, and government-funded programs (Veterans)• Manage weekly payroll for caregivers and staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance• Reconcile care logs against care plans and scheduled shifts before billing submission• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances• Accurately set up and maintain client and caregiver profiles in WellSky and AxisCare• Collaborate with firm staff to resolve billing and payroll discrepancies• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as requestedQualifications• Proficiency with WellSky and AxisCare is required• 2+ years of billing and payroll experience (preferably in senior care)• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and billing accuracy best practices• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines• Strong communication and problem-solving skillsPosition Details• Contractor role• Part-time: 10–15 hours per week• Workdays: Sunday–Tuesday with occasional other days midweek• Hourly rate: $25/hourAbout UsWe are a specialized bookkeeping firm serving senior care businesses.
