About the positionThe RN Clinical Wellness Nurse position in Orlando, FL, is primarily focused on individual coaching, site health promotion, and the overall functions of the clinic. This role requires collaboration with Cigna benefits and account teams to balance individual coaching sessions with the delivery and coordination of wellness programs. The nurse will be responsible for event scheduling, appointment coordination, and monitoring the effectiveness of these wellness programs. A core objective of this position is to facilitate wellness programs that educate and influence employees at the worksite to lead healthier lifestyles. In terms of coaching responsibilities, the Clinical Wellness Nurse will conduct individual coaching sessions, assist in identifying members' health advocacy needs, and utilize motivational interviewing and engagement strategies to support the overall health and wellness of employees. The nurse will provide onsite support to help employees identify needs for behavior change to improve their health status, reduce health risks, and enhance their quality of life. Health and wellness education will be delivered through various media, including group presentations, support group facilitation, and creative modalities such as games and quizzes. Follow-up with employees will be essential to ensure engagement with wellness programs and to assess future educational or program referral needs. The role also includes health promotion activities, where the nurse will educate employees about wellness programs, tools, and services, raise awareness, and create visibility for wellness initiatives. The nurse will travel to scheduled school locations for program delivery and wellness events. Additionally, the position involves mobile van-based clinical functions and telemedicine, which includes preparing and managing the van for clinical use, traveling to designated locations for clinical service delivery, prepping patients for virtual providers, conducting CLIA waived testing, drawing labs, and administering vaccines.
