This role reports to the Senior Category Manager - Retail - Small Format.The role is responsible for supporting channel specific selling strategy and category management at BODYARMOR. This role leverages our various knowledge sources and systems to provide robust and fact-based insights that influence decision making at national Small Format retailers and our largest regional Small Format customers. The ultimate objective of this role is to be a strategic partner to Account Managers by providing them the strategic guidance, tools and support they need to overachieve against their sales goals.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Partnership and Leadership• Strategic participant and major player in national account & large regional account annual line review objective setting, meeting preparation, deck development and in-person meeting participation across the Convenience, Drug, and FSOP Channels. Provide fact-based thought leadership to influence strategic and tactical decisions for customer planning and execution.• As part of meeting preparation, find compelling fact-based insights to support a story line culminating in recommendations that highlight benefits for the retailer and shopper while supporting BODYARMOR corporate objectives. This process will leverage a wide variety of insights tools including scan consumption, shopper panel, depletions, assortment/planogram software and proprietary CATMAN tools.• As part of meeting preparation, lead process to maximize category and BODYARMOR sales through assortment optimization, days on hand analysis and regression modeling culminating in a retailer specific planogram recommendation reflecting look of success• This position plays a critical role during key customer meetings not only as the primary presenter, but to bring a category first mentality and made recommendations based on best practices from similar customers on how BODYARMOR helped retailers achieve their goalsCategory Analytics• Proactively & consistently analyze key customer performance and identify execution gaps, sub-par item performance, post-promo evaluation and category dynamic shifts• Lead process to identify retailer specific pricing and promotional opportunities to ensure our everyday shelf prices are compelling to shoppers and that trade spend is being spent as efficiently as possible to maximize brand sales and trial• Own and evolve customer specific reporting for CATMAN team to leverage as part of analytical process to glean insights and make recommendations to customersTeam Leadership• Provide leadership and direction to ensure company strategy and plan is executed.• Lead training sessions to enable our sales force to be more comfortable selling with advanced analytics.Requirements:• BA/BS degree required• 4+ years' experience in sales, category management, shopper insights & strategy; Field sales experience a plus• Requires ability travel up to 30% of the time via car or plane• Expert technical skills - Scan systems, Panel systems, trade funds management software, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.• Team player with exceptional leadership, communication and management qualities• Demonstrated capacity for big picture, strategic thinking, creative thinking and attention to detailThe Coca-Cola Company will not offer sponsorship for employment status (including, but not limited to, H1-B visa status and other employment-based nonimmigrant visas) for this position.
