JOB DETAILSPosition MissionWe are seeking an American Board of Opticianry Certification Optical Dispenser to join our online eyewear platform. Your primary responsibility will be to verify customer prescriptions, ensure compliance with the United States optical health regulations, and provide professional oversight for the dispensing of prescription glasses online.Responsibilities• Review and validate uploaded optical prescriptions submitted by customers (approx. 1.5 hours per day minimum of 3 days a week including weekends)• Ensure all prescriptions comply with United States health regulations and professional standards• Assist in recommending lens types based on prescription, age, and customer needs• Flag incomplete, expired, or questionable prescriptions and communicate with customer support• Provide clinical oversight for lens selection, measurements (e.g. PD), and optical corrections• Ensure that all prescription orders meet the US guidelines for safe dispensing• Collaborate with the customer service and product teams to resolve prescription-related queries• Stay current with local optical regulations and best practicesQualifications• Registered Optical Dispenser with the American Board of Opticianry Certification• Bachelor of Optometry or equivalent from an accredited institution• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical optometry experience preferred• Strong understanding of optical prescriptions, lens design, and measurement parameters• Comfortable using digital tools, email, and cloud-based systems• Excellent attention to detail and professional communication skills• Able to work independently in a remote settingPreferred (Nice to Have)• Previous experience with e-commerce or tele-optometry platforms• Familiarity with practice management software and optical lab workflows• Experience with international optical prescriptionsWhat’s in it for you?• Flexible remote working hours• Competitive compensation based on workload or per-verification basis• Opportunity to help innovate online vision care in the United StatesCOMPANY PROFILESmartBuyGlasses Group (Motion Global Ltd.) is one of the world’s leading designer eyewear e-retailers, with sites in more than 30 countries.
