Description:Position Primary Responsibilities: Aircraft Sales & Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading the end-to-end process of managed aircraft transactions, including sourcing, evaluating, marketing, negotiating, and closing aircraft sales and acquisitions. This role requires deep knowledge of the private and commercial aviation markets, exceptional negotiation skills, and strong client relationship management.Secondary Responsibilities: The Retail Charter Sales Representative is responsible for generating and managing sales of private charter services to individual and group clients. This role involves identifying sales opportunities, building relationships with new and existing customers, and providing exceptional service throughout the charter booking process. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering tailored travel experiences.Requirements:Sales & Marketing:• Develop and manage a portfolio of managed aircraft operated by our Charter Department• Create marketing strategies, sales materials, and listings for the acquisition of managed aircraft.• Identify and engage with prospective clients and sellers globally.• Conduct aircraft showings, demonstrations, and attend industry events/trade shows.• Proactively sell private charter services to retail clients through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and client meetings.• Provide detailed information about aircraft types, pricing, routing, and other charter options.• Develop and maintain a client portfolio by building strong relationships and offering personalized travel solutions.• Negotiate contracts, finalize booking details, and coordinate with operations to ensure seamless trip execution.• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities.• Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide high-quality customer service before, during, and after flights.• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM software.• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to optimize sales efforts and customer satisfaction.Acquisitions:• Source managed aircraft for Sherpa Air Charter Department.• Coordinate pre-purchase inspections and third-party appraisals for aircraft sales.• With respect to Aircraft Sales; Advise clients on aircraft selection, pricing, and valuation.Transaction Management:• Negotiate terms of management contracts, purchase agreements, and LOIs.• Work closely with legal, financial, and regulatory parties to ensure smooth transactions.Client Relations:• Build and maintain long-term relationships with aircraft owners, brokers, and aviation professionals.• Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, corporate flight departments, and charter operators.• Provide market updates and consultative insights on fleet planning or upgrades.Communication Expectation with Internal Charter Operations Team:• It is required for the person fulfilling this position to communicate with the Internal Charter Operations Team; whether it is management, sales, or coordinators.• Responsible for involving Internal Charter Team in any sales and flight planning information with the client.• Creating an open-ended relationship with the Internal Charter Team to track all sales and promote best quality of service on all trips.• Responsible for working alongside Trip Coordinator’s to develop client’s/account/aircraft profiles.Experience & Education:• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).• 3–7+ years in aircraft sales, brokerage, or aviation consulting.• Experience with private/business aviation markets strongly [PH1] preferred.• Proven ability to develop and manage customer accounts — often high-net-worth individuals, corporations, or government agencies• Experience working with OEMs, MROs, or aircraft brokers.• History of meeting or exceeding sales quotas or performance metrics.Skills & Key Attributes:• Deep knowledge of aircraft models, values, and market trends.• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.• Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office, and aircraft valuation tools (e.g., Vref, Aircraft Bluebook).• Self-motivated and results-driven.• High integrity and professionalism.• Strong analytical and organizational skills.• Willingness to travel domestic and/or international on short notice.ADA:Sherpa Air will make reasonable accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act 1990EEO/AA:Sherpa 6 does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, religion age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, height, weight, or marital status in employment or the provision of services and is an equal access/opportunity/affirmative action employer.Benefits:We offer a competitive benefits package, covering the cost of medical for you and your family; we also offer dental, vision, health and wellness benefits and a generous retirement savings plan.
