The Opportunity The Administrative Associate will play a key role in creating high-quality, client-facing deliverables, supporting research and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, preparing materials for client meetings, managing internal systems and planning tools, and supporting the continued success of our growing social impact consulting firm. The role offers the opportunity to work in an intellectually stimulating environment with a talented, dedicated, and collaborative small team of consultants with deep nonprofit sector and management consulting experience, and to support the work of extraordinary Bay Area social justice nonprofit, philanthropic, and government CEOs, executive leadership teams, program managers, and direct service staff. Recent clients include Legal Services for Children, Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI), East Bay Housing Organizations (EBHO), Kaiser Permanente, Bay Area Air District, Yerba Buena Gardens Conservancy, La Raza Community Resource Center, and the U.C. Berkeley Greater Good Science Center. As an Administrative Associate, you will: Design deliverables and communications Create, contribute to, and copyedit high-quality, client-facing deliverables including presentations, reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, frameworks, and other deliverables. Manage iterations of deliverables, incorporating client and team feedback. Prepare materials for client meetings - Support preparation for virtual, in-person, and hybrid client meetings and workshops, including preparing pre-meeting materials (e.g., facilitation guides, agendas, worksheets) and post-meeting follow-up materials (e.g., meeting notes, actions items). Support research and data analysis - Support quantitative and qualitative research (e.g., surveys, interviews, focus groups) and summarize data and findings. Produce presentations and reports that reflect findings. Support organizational development and planning Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing invoices and client contracts, managing customer relationship management (CRM) tracking and reporting, and updating our mailing list. Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and procedures. Contribute to business development efforts (e.g., preparing communications about our work and writing project proposals). Contribute to team culture - Contribute to a collaborative, diverse, and innovative team culture, supporting our leadership team's efficiency and effectiveness.
