ADJUNCT FACULTY | INTERIOR DESIGN ONLINESalary $2,300-$3,150 per class, per term...Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RCMAD) seeks qualified applicants with online teaching experience for the position of Interior Design Adjunct Faculty who will be part of a growing, dynamic community of diverse educators. RMCAD is a small, premier college certified by HLC and NSAD offering degrees in fine and applied arts. Adjunct faculty are assigned courses based on expertise in that field of interior design, availability and student enrollment. Course Descriptions may be found in the RMCAD Academic Catalog located here:The Interior Design campus and online programs are CIDA accredited. The program is unique to many, providing an emphasis in Sustainable Design. The interior design B.F.A. program challenges creative students to become innovative designers capable of critical thinking and effective communication within the context of global design practice. The program is seeing a growth in student enrollment in each eight week term, which operates year round.Primary Responsibilities:• Teaching and Instructional Activities: the practice and art of teaching, including evaluation by students, supervisor(s), and self. Faculty must also comply with all administrative and classroom management policies, procedures and instructional deadlines.• Record class attendance in Faculty Portal and submit midterm/final grades by the due date specified.• Provide timely and periodic feedback to students on assignments and participation. This includes discussion board posts, critique zone feedback, as well as feedback within the learning management system.• Attend required training sessions and departmental meetings.• Courses range from Survey of Interior Design, Introduction to Sustainable Design, Design Process and Planning, CAD, Revit, Residential Design, Special Use Design, Design Research and Construction Documents.Qualifications:• Masters degree or MFA in Interior Design or a related area, unless they have substantial professional practice experience supporting their academic achievements.• NCIDQ Certification (preferred) and or LEED Certification• Significant professional experience• Minimum of two years teaching experience• ONLINE Teaching experience• MUST reside in one of the following states: CA,NJ,NY,CO,AZ, or FLAbout RMCADRocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD) is an innovative, rigorous, and community-oriented global learning environment that inspires passion for critical thinking and prepares learners to be forces of change in the creative industries, our communities, and the world.
