We are seeking a candidate who can build on their sales experience in driving UK and pan-regional brand partnership sales across UK and Europe for Nat Geo and the Disney Advertising portfolio. This includes print, digital, social media and TV platforms. The role will include management of high profile media partners and across all elements of our partnership campaigns’ lifecycle from pitch to campaign delivery. This includes lead generation, management of clients, and collaboration with a variety of internal groups across Creative, Operations, Editorial, Finance, and Accounting.</p><p>This is a highly visible role within The Walt Disney Company, requiring high personal accountability and will involve internal stakeholder management.</p><p>This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the <b>Hammersmith, London office</b> with 1 day working from home</p><p><b>The Opportunity & Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Drive pan regional sales revenue for Nat Geo media through advertising and custom content partnerships across our full portfolio of platforms: Digital, Social, Print, TV & Streaming.</li><li>This role has a focus on proactive new business development & lead generation, responsible for securing new briefs/ RFPs and delivering on set revenue targets that contribute towards the FY24 budgets.</li><li>Regularly presenting to clients on Nat Geo and the broader Disney Advertising portfolio, and proactively sharing partnership opportunities.</li><li>Dedicated lead contact across a portfolio of media agencies and brands, representing Nat Geo and regularly presenting to key clients and account teams.</li><li>Sales lead for allocated industry categories using key industry insights and trends to set new business strategies, build client network and close new deals.</li><li>Overseeing all aspects of the deal from pitch through to campaign delivery, collaborating with in-house creative and media teams on delivery of client campaigns.</li><li>Support VP Partnerships with our existing partner campaigns as required.</li><li>Work closely with Partnership Sales teams across the regions on global accounts that have significant presence in UK, Europe and APAC</li><li>Collaborate with the wider Disney Advertising teams to present the Disney+ ad tier proposition to key Nat Geo clients</li><li>Maintain an accurate and detailed pipeline and provide timely business forecasts.</li><li>Evangelize the National Geographic brand and portfolio amongst the industry and at key events</li></ul><p><b>The Experience We Require From You:</b></p><p>The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in a sales role, ideally within the sales & partnerships division of a media organisation, and a strong grasp of branded content and digital media, and excellent interpersonal skills.</p><ul><li>Experience working with both clients and agencies at a senior level</li><li>Proven experience delivering revenue success and growth through pan-regional brand partnerships</li><li>Excellent knowledge of multi-media platforms including print, digital & tv/video</li><li>Ambitious self-starter who is driven to hit sales targets from existing and new clients</li><li>Creative and strategic approach to winning business</li><li>Comfortable with ambiguity, and with the ability to thrive in a team environment</li><li>Business development capabilities</li><li>Good PPT & XLS skills; ability to multi task & attention to detail critical</li><li>Exceptional presentation, communication and negotiation skills</li><li>Client and solution focused attitude</li><li>Knowledge of production is a plus</li></ul><h2><b>The Perks</b></h2><ul><li>25 days annual leave</li><li>Private medical insurance & dental care</li><li>Free Park Entry: You will have the opportunity to enter any of our parks with your family and friends for free</li><li>Disney Discounts: you are entitled to discounts on designated Disney products, resort F&B and ticketing</li><li>Excellent parental and guardian leave</li><li>Employee Resource Groups – WOMEN @ Disney, Disney DIVERSITY, Disney PRIDE, ENABLED, and our Mental Health & Wellbeing Group, TRUST.</li></ul><p>The Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
