Accounting Specialist (Full Time, Remote) - Metasource - USA - work from home jobCompany: MetasourceJob description: Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionWe are looking for a smart, driven, and detailed-oriented professional to join our Accounting Team as an Accounting Specialist. This position will interface with departments across the business on accounting tasks such as billing, invoicing, collections, bank reconciliations, and other basic accounting tasks and various reconciliations. This position requires a strong attention to detail, ability to manage time well, and interact professionally with employees, clients, and vendors.Pay: $20-$22 / hour (depending on experience)Remote: Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, Nevada only.Responsibilities• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.• Operates computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.• Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files.• Checks figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding.• Prepares month end close reconciliations pertaining to client billings, expenses, cash and prepaids using pivot tables.• Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.• Assists Accounting Leadership Team as necessary.Requirements• Some college preferably in Accounting, Business, or related field.• Two to three years of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience.• Proficient using computer and Microsoft Office products including Excel.• Self-starter attitude with tenacity and drive. Consistently looks for ways to improve processes and procedures.• Effective communicator and comfortable working remotely.Preferred Qualifications• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, or related field.• Previous work experience using Netsuite ERP.Employment is contingent upon completing and passing a background check and drug test.
