SUMMARY OF POSITION:The Regional Sales Manager – Optical is responsible for leading the growth and performance of Quay’s optical business across the Western US. This role will manage and scale a regional network of optical accounts (independent and chain), drive new account acquisition, lead a team of sales representatives, and strategically build Quay’s brand presence within the optical channel. This role must create and implement strategies to grow sales within their region and channel, accurately forecast sales for each account and implement sales tactics to ensure sales budgets are met. They also need to be able to recognize opportunities, prioritize needs, and be able to effectively communicate back to the business to ensure that we are continually servicing the accounts to our fullest potential. Success in this role will be measured through the achievement of sales targets, strong relationships with external wholesale partners, and an ability to effectively communicate and drive action among cross-functional partners.Commission EligiblePRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:• Leadership & Strategy• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow optical market share and QUAY brand awareness.• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives and independent reps,• Provide coaching and performance feedback to ensure targets are met or exceeded• Sales & Account Management• Own and grow relationships with key optical accounts• Inform accounts of new launches, marketing calendar/activities, and partner to leverage all marketing levers (Toolkits, training materials, promotional calendars, social, etc.)• Drive new account acquisition with a focus on high-potential independents and chains• Analyze sales trends, competitive sets, and customer preferences and develop action plans to optimize performance by account and region• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any customer issues or concerns in a timely manner.• Contribute to the development and management of annual sales plan and budget as related to the strategic growth plans and objectives of the wholesale optical sales channel• Identify optimization opportunities to ensure accounts/buyers are buying the best styles for their specific customer and the most accurate units based on seasonality, trend and sell-thru goals• Channel Development• Identify opportunities to expand Quay’s footprint in the optical space• Partner with marketing and product teams to develop go-to-market strategies for optical collections• Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends and emerging products• Reporting & Analytics• Deliver regular reporting on KPIs, sell-through, and pipeline forecasts• Use data to inform decision-making and resource allocation• Create sales forecasts and monitor performance against plans to adjust strategies as needed• Events & Trade Shows• Represent Quay at key industry events, including Vision Expo and other optical shows• Host and lead training sessions and trunk shows to drive brand engagement
