As an independent contractor, you'll have the freedom to set your own schedule and determine how to best complete the tasks outlined.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Marketing Assistant will be responsible for the following key areas:• Social Media Setup & Management:• Collaborate with the founder to define social media strategies and goals.• Set up and manage profiles on TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, and LinkedIn.• Create and schedule engaging content for each platform, ensuring alignment with the company's brand voice and style.• Monitor engagement metrics and provide updates on platform growth.• Content Creation:• Brainstorm and develop content ideas for social media, blogs, and email marketing.• Write and edit blog posts, ensuring they are optimized for SEO and fit the brand's tone and voice.• Repurpose content across platforms to maximize visibility and engagement.• Email Campaigns:• Assist with the setup of email campaigns using platforms such as Brevo, Mailchimp, Sendgrid.• Help design email templates and collaborate on email content ideas.• Monitor performance of email campaigns and suggest optimizations as needed.• Additional Support:• Conduct research on digital marketing trends and travel industry insights to inform marketing strategies.• Provide updates and feedback on the effectiveness of marketing efforts.• Other projects as required.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:• Interest or experience in digital marketing, especially in the travel or tech industries.• Familiarity with social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.• Strong writing skills with a focus on content creation and editing.•Experiencewith basic design tools like Canva and Figma or similar tools.• Familiarity with email marketing platforms is a bonus.• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and an ability to manage your own workflow.• Bonus: Experience with SEO, social media analytics, PR, customer research, or video editing.Location, Hours, and DurationThis is a remote position, and you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. The expected hours are 5-10 hours per week, and the duration of the contract is 1 month, with potential for future projects.CompensationThe compensation for this position is $15 per hour.Why Join Us?At Picki, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and learning.
