Join us!What the Account Manager Clinical Laboratory Services doesThe Account Manager – Clinical Laboratory Services is responsible for managing internal cross-functional relationships to ensure seamless integration between early and late phase clinical services. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between late phase proposals, vendor management, and early phase operations, with the goal of retaining early phase clinical trial work internally and minimizing leakage to external vendors.This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent client service skills, experience in clinical research operations, and the ability to coordinate competing priorities across stakeholders. Familiarity with bioanalytical and early phase services is strongly preferred.What you will do• Serve as the central point of coordination for clients bridging early phase trials and late phase laboratory services.• Identify, capture, and execute internal referral opportunities, working closely with late phase proposals and vendor management.• Partner with early phase sales and operations to ensure timely handoffs and integrated client engagement.• Track and report on referral activity, internal conversion rates, and lost opportunities.• Promote awareness of internal early phase capabilities across client-facing teams.• Support process improvement initiatives that enable cross-divisional collaboration and revenue retention.What you will bring to the role• Strong understanding of clinical trial phases, especially early phase and lab services.• Proven relationship-building skills across multiple departments and functions.• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.Your experience• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field.• 8+ years of Commercial experience in clinical research, preferably within a CRO or similar environment.• Success Metrics:• % of early phase opportunities retained internally• Referral-to-project conversion rate• Revenue contribution from internal referrals• Internal stakeholder satisfaction• Reduction in referral leakageWe love knowing that someone is going to have a better life because of the work we do.To view our other roles, check out our careers page at Discover a world of difference at Worldwide !
