You will primarily focus on live defects, ensuring all relevant reports/procedures and materials are available to the maintenance team.</p><p>Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:</p><ul><li>Set up Work Reports in advance of unit arrivals so that all work required is captured.</li><li>Review completed work to develop a ‘Right First Time’ approach to defects.</li><li>Liaise with Maintenance Control, Stores, Control and Engineering to ensure the team have all the information to hand when needed.</li><li>Fault finding and investigation of re-occurring/prolonged faults</li><li>Writing in-depth technical reports on technical issues and faults</li><li>Provision of information to Engineering on possible technical improvements to the fleet<br><br></li></ul><p><b>Who we’re looking for</b></p><ul><li>5 years craft experience</li><li>Experience of managing resources<br><br></li></ul><p><b>Welsh Language Skills</b></p><p>The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.</p><p>Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills.
