<p><strong>Department: Human Resources </strong></p><p><strong>Reports To: People Services Manager </strong></p><p><strong>Work Patterns: Monday to Friday 37 hours per week (12 month FTC) </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Purpose Summary: </strong>As a People Advisor, you will provide a proactive and professional customer service to all LLA stakeholders, being responsible for delivery of a full range of people resource services. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Being the first point of contact for our employees, via email and phone. </li><li>Assisting with the selection, recruitment and onboarding of employees. </li><li>Assisting managers through the investigation, disciplinary and grievance processes. </li><li>Advising employees on the employee benefits provided, e.g. healthcare, pension (non- financial advice), Employee Assistance Program, Occupational health and Absence reporting. </li><li>Providing Employee Relations advice and working through minor to moderate cases across all departments, and shadowing complex cases with the HRBPs. </li><li>Delivering inductions across LLA. </li><li>Exploring opportunities for employee development. </li><li>Assisting with the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.</li><li>Advising and assisting on issues relating to workplace relations and performance management. </li><li>Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation. </li><li>Management of personal data and entry/updates on the relevant systems we operate. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: </strong></p><p>The ideal candidate would hold and have some experience and knowledge in the following: </p><ul><li>Demonstratable experience working within a Human Resources environment previously.</li><li>Experience of working with databases and online systems. </li><li>Proficient in Word and Excel. </li><li>Good understanding of employment law and Human resources as a whole. </li><li>CIPD qualification or equivalent – or working towards.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Act with integrity and honestly and maintain confidentiality at all times.</li></ul>
