The Wilf Ward Family Trust have a great opportunity for you to join our team at one of our registered services, <strong>Stakesby Road. </strong>As a Support Worker you will provide person centred support for three individuals who have <strong>complex health needs and learning disabilities</strong> at their home, which is in the seaside town of <strong>Whitby.<br><br></strong><strong><em>No two days are the same,</em></strong> the individuals we support require and receive 100% support in all aspects of their lives.<br><br><strong>Some Day-to-day Tasks Include<br><br></strong><ul><li>Personal care.</li><li>Meal preparation.</li><li>Monitoring, recording, and administering medication.</li><li>Assistance with mobility.</li><li>Accompanying individuals to a range of activities including cinema trips, shopping, eating out, arts and crafts, and swimming.<br><br></li></ul>You should be an <strong><em>effective communicator</em></strong> be prepared to use different communication tools and methods and follow the lead of the person you're communicating with, as we have a variety of different communication styles.
