Together with our passionate fans and valued network of partners, we are developing Manchester City’s future history.<br><br>The role of the 1st Team Performance Analyst is to support the First Team Performance Analysis department in delivering elite-level analysis that generates actionable insights for coaches and players. This role plays a critical part in preparing tactical and individual performance insights that enhance team and player development, in both training and match environments.<br><br><strong>This is Your City<br><br></strong>As part of our team, you will be entitled to 26 days annual leave plus an additional day off for your birthday, private healthcare and a simply health cash plan, an annual discretionary bonus, plus a range of partnership and lifestyle discounts.<br><br><strong>Your Impact<br><br></strong><ul><li>Produce and present tailored opposition individual player analysis to key first team stakeholders, including the coaching team and players.</li><li>When required, collaborate with the First Team Analyst Lead to deliver detailed opposition analysis, including tactical trends and key threats/opportunities.</li><li>Assist in managing and maintaining analysis databases and folder structures related to opposition and internal performance data.</li><li>Contribute to the matchday analysis process at both home and away fixtures, including live coding, in-game feedback, and post-match reporting.</li><li>Ensure the analysis output is aligned with the MCFC philosophy and performance objectives set by the management team.</li><li>Provide flexible support across all areas of the Performance Analysis team as needed, contributing to wider departmental objectives including training analysis, individual development, post-match reviews, and ad-hoc projects.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Essential<br><br></strong><strong>What we are looking for<br><br></strong><ul><li>Undergraduate degree in Performance Analysis or a related field.</li><li>Detailed knowledge of football.</li><li>Experience to work to tight deadlines.</li><li>Experience of working within a Performance Analysis environment.</li><li>Highly proficient using Hudl Sportscode.</li><li>Highly proficient using Piero or Studio.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Desirable<br><br></strong><ul><li>Postgraduate degree in Performance Analysis or a related field</li><li>Experience of independently delivering performance analysis projects</li><li>UEFA B Licence<br><br></li></ul><em>City Football Group promotes equal opportunities in employment and we positively welcome applications from all candidates regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation.<br><br></em><em>We will screen all applicants and select candidates whose skills and experience seem to meet our needs.
