Responsibilities We are seeking experienced Train Managers to operate the Belmond Britannica across some of the UK’s most picturesque and historically significant routes. This isn’t just freight. This is a high-profile, luxury passenger service where the journey itself is the experience. With an average 4-day working week (34.5 hours), this role aligns with Belmond’s delivery periods—offering more working time during operations and increased rest periods during quieter spells. During non-delivery periods you will be re-deployed to assist with GBRf freight business. Qualifications What We’re Looking For Qualified Freight Train Drivers with a passion for excellence. Valid UK/EU Train Driver Licence and full UK driving licence. Strong route and traction knowledge (desirable). Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends. Impeccable safety record and professional standards. Calm under pressure, with strong communication and customer-facing skills. Proficient with IT systems (Word, Outlook, iPad apps). Must reside within 45 minutes of your designated depot.
