Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Shopify & Etsy Customer Service Agent to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to customers, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience across our Shopify and Etsy stores. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and social media in a timely and professional manner.

  • Handle order processing, cancellations, refunds, and exchanges efficiently.

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues while maintaining a positive brand image.

  • Monitor and manage customer reviews, providing feedback to improve products and services.

  • Work closely with the logistics team to ensure accurate order fulfillment and tracking.

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Shopify and Etsy policies, products, and customer service best practices.

  • Identify common customer issues and suggest improvements to streamline the shopping experience.

  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.

  • Assist in creating FAQ content and customer support documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.

  • Experience in customer service, preferably in an e-commerce environment.

  • Familiarity with Shopify and Etsy platforms, including order management and dispute resolution.

  • Ability to multitask and handle high volumes of customer interactions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.

  • Proficiency in using helpdesk software (such as Zendesk, Gorgias, or Freshdesk) is a plus.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in an e-commerce or online marketplace environment.

  • Prior experience managing Shopify and Etsy stores is a strong advantage.
