The Role
Join a prestigious leading law firm in Dubai as a Senior Tax Lawyer, where you will provide expert tax advisory and legal services to a diverse portfolio of clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex tax matters within a dynamic and fast-growing legal environment in the UAE. Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive legal advice on UAE and international tax matters including corporate tax, VAT, and transfer pricing. - Draft, review, and negotiate tax-related contracts and agreements ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. - Represent clients in tax disputes, audits, and litigation processes before relevant authorities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic tax planning solutions for clients. - Stay updated with the latest changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure proactive compliance and advisory. - mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the development of the firm’s tax practice. - Conduct due diligence and risk assessments related to tax matters in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years of experience specializing in tax law, preferably within a top-tier law firm or corporate environment. - Strong understanding of UAE tax regulations and international tax principles. - Proven track record of handling complex tax cases and delivering client-focused solutions. - Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. - Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. - MBA or advanced legal qualifications related to tax law will be considered a plus. - High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client service excellence.
