We're searching the farthest corners of the realm for a talented PHP Developer to join our energetic team at Tebex on a full-time basis.

As the chosen one, you'll be at the forefront of the User-Generated Content (UGC) revolution, where your work will have a tangible impact on the gaming community, enabling creators to bring their visions to life. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our status as a market leader, ensuring the continued high performance and security of our platform.

This role is a remote-first position, open to UK residents only.

Responsibilities
  • Develop robust PHP code to build new features of varying complexity.
  • Investigate and resolve complex bugs and maintain and refactor existing codebases.
  • Offer assistance on technical support queries.
  • Share your unique knowledge and experience with the development team through code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Consider and implement security and performance best practices in all code you produce.
  • Enhance the user experience by making thoughtful suggestions and improvements to projects.
  • Create powerful PHP potions in the Tebex alchemy lab.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • 5+ years of experience with PHP and Laravel, with a deep understanding of various development approaches and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in automated testing (PHPUnit, feature tests, etc.).
  • High standards and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Receptive to feedback and open to new ideas, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to overcome challenges.
  • Excellent potion brewing and alchemy skills; experience in harvesting invisible salamanders is a serious plus.
