You\'ll partner with marketing channel owners, brand strategists, merchandisers, and more to develop engaging and trustworthy campaigns and experiences for our European markets, building Etsy\'s local credibility while highlighting and celebrating our global community of talented makers and curators.<br/>This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Manager, Buyer Content Strategy. Our team inspires action through strategic storytelling, bringing the brand to life through buyer initiatives and product surfaces, and driving engagement with compelling content tailored to our international markets. We showcase Etsy’s creative community and encourage repeat engagement. </p><p><strong>Daily Tasks Include: </strong> </p><ol><li>Supporting regional marketing moments calendar development and identifying cultural relevance opportunities. </li><li>Evolving strategies for market-specific blogs in the UK, Germany, and France using research and data insights. </li><li>Partnering with CRM to build and implement localized content plans for emails, push notifications, and landing pages. </li><li>Supporting content needs for buyer channels, including social media, SEO, and onsite content, aligning programming across channels. </li><li>Facilitating editor reviews of translated content to ensure style and tone consistency, working with translation teams to enhance localization quality. </li><li>Onboarding, managing, and editing local freelance writers, ensuring adherence to Etsy’s style guide and tone, sourcing in-market freelancers as needed. </li><li>Monitoring industry trends, news, and emerging technologies for growth opportunities. </li> </ol><p><strong>Qualities for Success: </strong> </p><ul><li>Proven experience creating engaging content for European audiences, preferably for brands or agencies. </li><li>Experience with multiple marketing channels including blogs, email, and social media. </li><li>Ability to develop and implement content strategies for blogs and email campaigns. </li><li>Strong collaboration skills to drive impact with partners. </li><li>Familiarity with content management systems, analytics tools, and basic photo editing. </li><li>Good judgment and decision-making based on data and research. </li><li>Organized, flexible, and adaptable to change. </li><li>Fluent in English and German, with basic French language skills. </li> </ul><p><strong>Additional Information </strong> </p><p><strong>Next Steps: </strong> Share your resume and optional cover letter.
