We are currently working with a good SEND school in Sidcup, Bexley, who are looking for an experienced SEND Teacher.

The Role

They are seeking to appoint an inspirational, motivated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant (complex learning needs including ASD, SLD, PMLD) to join their successful team. Experience of working with children and young people with ASD, SLD and/or PMLD is desirable but they also welcome applicants who are willing to develop their skills. The position is suitable for individuals who are motivated, patient and passionate about students’ learning and wellbeing.

The School

A successful community special school for students aged 11 – 19 with complex learning needs including ASD, SLD and students with PMLD. They are committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all their learners and they achieve this through creative curriculum and personalised intervention strategies to ensure each individual students’ needs, interests and abilities are fully met. They focus on the development of communication and independence skills whilst ensuring that the students are empowered and enjoy positive wellbeing.
