Retail Security Guard - Weekend & Relief shifts

Bravo Security Ltd provides highly effective security services that offer great peace of mind to our customers and members of the public. We are now taking applications for an experienced retail security guard to work in our client busy grocery store. To be considered, applicants must hold a valid SIA licence and have at least one year of experience in a similar position in the security industry.
Duties

  • Ensuring the Safety of Employees and Customers.
  • Deter and apprehend shoplifters and known offenders.
  • Provide Customer Service when Necessary.
  • Handle Crisis and Emergency Situations with Confidence.
  • Ensure all Safety and Emergency Procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid SIA front-line licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 5 years of checkable work history
  • 1 year of UK based retail security experience
  • Presentable, punctual and trustworthy
  • Clean criminal record
  • Available immediately and on an ad-hoc basis

Summary

As a Retail Security Guard, you will be essential in maintaining a safe shopping environment for customers and staff. Reporting to the Duty Manager, your core responsibilities will include monitoring store entrance, conducting bag searches, and implementing loss prevention strategies.
