What you'll do

You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
  • You will be responsible for assisting guests with their enquiries about reservations for all our nine hotels of the Collection. This will include process all bookings via telephone and email and follow up activities related to reservations aspects, to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
  • You’ll also need to be persuasive and engaging in order to close the sale over the phone and/or via email
  • Prioritization is another key skill: as a reservations specialist, you will be skilled at multitasking and are able to adapt in a fast-paced environment in order to meet time of response targets.

  • Dorchester Collection uses various systems in order to deliver the best service to our guests. Being able to quickly adapt to new technology is a an essential part of this role.
The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a Reservations Specialist, but we’ll make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our Collection. The operational hours of work are shift-based and may be subjected to change. These currently set as:
Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 22:00
Saturday and Sunday: 08:00 - 20:00

What you'll bring

  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
  • English is the primary language used in our office. Our reservation specialists must feel comfortable communicating in this language. Native or proficient command of Arabic, spoken and written, is also essential for this role to be able to communicate with our Arabic speaking guests from the Gulf region.

Recruitment for this role will start in January 2024.
