Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Remote Data Entry specialist for Excel/Spreadsheet Management. This role is perfect for individuals with a knack for organization and proficiency in data management tasks. As a member of our team, you will be tasked with entering, updating, and managing large amounts of data in spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and manage data in Excel and other spreadsheet software accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update databases to ensure data is current and correct.
  • Perform data cleansing tasks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of records.
  • Organize data in a structured manner to enable easy retrieval and reporting.
  • Prepare reports from the data entered, and share with relevant teams or clients when required.
  • Regularly update spreadsheets, creating new entries and ensuring historical data is maintained.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and ensure its proper entry into spreadsheets.
  • Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any data discrepancies or issues as they arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet software.
  • Strong typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and an ability to spot errors or discrepancies in data.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic understanding of data entry best practices and spreadsheet formulas is a plus.

Experience:

  • At least 6 months of experience in data entry or similar roles, particularly with Excel or other spreadsheet software.
