Description

The Role 
  • This position will require you to work a combination of shifts which includes early starts, late finishes, weekend, and bank holiday working. 
  • You will work an average of 35 hours per week, and shifts are over a 24-hour period. 
  • Full uniform will be provided, to ensure that you embrace our values and brand as a business.
  • Candidates will be subject to a Right to Work check & DBS check for this position.

Our Train Service Delivery department is integral to the smooth running of our trains and we currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the team as a Qualified Train Driver at Liverpool Street (Anglia).

The Role 

As a Qualified Train Driver, you will play a key role in our business as we focus on improvements and delivering an excellent service to our customers. 

Key Responsibilities

·       Drive trains safely, punctually, and economically in accordance with company Rules & Regulations.
·       Ensure all operations meet the needs and expectations of customers.
·       Communicate effectively with colleagues and other railway interfaces to support efficient service delivery.
·       Collaborate with Greater Anglia teams to ensure the smooth and reliable running of train services.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

·       Work effectively and independently while maintaining strong communication with customers and colleagues.
·       Demonstrate high levels of organisation, focus, and responsibility required for train driving.
·       Show motivation to progress your career and take on new challenges as a Qualified Train Driver.
·       Clearly outline your experience, interest, and preferred location when applying.
·       Bring proven experience driving passenger trains and a passion for delivering safe, reliable service.
